SAJ: Empresário Gorgônio Antônio de Oliveira é homenageado com painel no hall de entrada do Edifício São Francisco

As fotos estampadas no painel da parede do hall de entrada do Edifício São Francisco, na Rua Tiradentes, 30, no centro comercial de Santo Antônio de Jesus, do empresário Gorgônio Antônio de Oliveira, da Igreja Matriz e das palmeiras imperiais, traduzem sinônimo de empreendedorismo e visão de futuro para uma das cidades mais importantes do Recôncavo Baiano e Capital do Recôncavo. A assinatura também destaca a marca do homenageado, Gorgônio Oliveira, como ‘empreendedor visionário’.

Homenageado pela família após a reforma do Edifício São Francisco, onde funciona a Rádio Andaiá FM, a Associação Comercial e a Cofel, além de diversos escritórios, o empresário Gorgônio Antônio de Oliveira, que teve grande participação na fundação das Lojas Comercial São Luís, Cofel, Supermercados Rio Branco, entre outros empreendimentos na cidade, gerou emprego e renda e contribuiu para o desenvolvimento contínuo da Cidade das Palmeiras. O empresário faleceu em 22 de abril de 2019, aos 90 anos.

De acordo com informações da família, a homenagem foi desenvolvida em conjunto. “Foram várias cabeças pensantes. Queríamos algo bonito e que transmitisse um sentimento positivo. Ele partiu, mas, no dia a dia, está constantemente presente em nossas vidas”.

O Edifício São Francisco leva o nome do pai do empresário, Francisco. Outro imóvel que fica na Rua Monsenhor Antônio Oliveira, Edifício Santa Júlia, homenageia a mãe de Gorgônio Oliveira.

A homenagem ao empresário foi inspirada na campanha da qual ele participou: “Orgulho de ser santoantoniense”, promovida pela Associação Comercial e Empresarial (Acesaj). O hino da cidade de Santo Antônio de Jesus foi lembrado e destacado e pode ser visto no primeiro lance de escada de acesso aos andares superiores. Cada andar foi sinalizado com uma cor específica e com lindas fotos e paisagens da cidade.

A família do empresário ressaltou as histórias peculiares de pessoas com o empresário ao longo de sua vida. “Quem conheceu Gorgônio pode confirmar seu empreendedorismo e disponibilidade em ajudar ao próximo. Ele foi um visionário. Na cidade não é difícil encontrar alguém com uma história peculiar para contar sobre ele e em como ele ajudou. Gorgônio sempre dizia que quem faz o mau, é o mais prejudicado, e quem pratica o bem, é o mais beneficiado. Esse era um dos lemas de vida dele”.

De personalidade forte, Gorgônio Oliveira construiu uma bela trajetória comercial e de empreendedorismo em Santo Antônio de Jesus e região. “O trabalho sempre foi a marca registrada dele”, afirmou a família. “Muitas pessoas têm a sua história particular com ele. Por onde ele passou, deixou sua marca. Sempre dizia que tudo se inicia com a limpeza e organização, depois vem todo o resto. Ele sempre foi um homem de dar o exemplo”.

Gorgônio Oliveira foi parceiro da Rádio Andaiá FM desde a chegada da emissora em SAJ

O empresário Fernando Henrique Chagas, diretor da Rede Baiana de Rádio (RBR) e Rádio Andaiá FM, lembrou o empreendedorismo de Gorgônio de Oliveira, que sempre teve uma forte ligação com a Andaiá FM e com todos os seus funcionários.

Ele foi a primeira pessoa procurada pelo diretor, Fernando Henrique Chagas, e seu então sócio Raul Menezes, para a locação da sala onde seria instalada a emissora. “Solícito, ele imediatamente facilitou a locação das salas, além de dar total suporte no período de montagem do estúdio, indicando de maneira voluntária o pedreiro e o marceneiro para a obra, motivado apenas pelo desejo de ver a emissora no ar, chegando a não cobrar o aluguel durante seis meses até que a rádio estivesse em pleno funcionamento”, lembra Fernando Henrique Chagas.

Chagas conta que em abril de 2018, a Rádio Andaiá FM nomeou o espaço para as grandes entrevistas de “Varanda Livre Gorgônio Oliveira” em homenagem ao empresário quando inaugurou os novos estúdios da emissora, como reconhecimento ao apoio dado durante todos esses anos. “Tenho um carinho muito grande por Gorgônio. Foi um amigo e um dos grandes baluartes do início da emissora. Fui seu amigo fraterno e admirador dessa grande figura que permanecerá para sempre em nossos corações”, destacou Fernando Henrique.
