Descentralização da liderança ajudará negócios na crise

Uma crise sem precedentes já apontada como o principal evento do século XXI para a economia global está exigindo resiliência das empresas. E no contexto da liderança, a nova realidade é a necessidade de redefinir planejamentos e conduzir o negócio em um ritmo de mudança frequente. E perdem oportunidades aqueles negócios que têm à frente lideranças centralizadoras que dificultam a agilidade no processo de adequação.

É o que afirma o consultor empresarial e mentor de negócios Roberto Vilela. Com mais de duas décadas de experiência em projetos com PMEs de diversos segmentos, o executivo destaca que a aura de desconfiança é, com frequência, o que leva à centralização. “Muitas vezes o líder é também dono ou sócio do negócio e trata a empresa como um projeto pessoal, não conseguindo deixar de dar a palavra final no processo decisório. E em uma situação como a que estamos vivendo, com o trabalho remoto em larga escala e o tempo de resposta diferente do normal, isso significa atraso na adequação do negócio. A consequência é a perda de competitividade no mercado, porque a empresa não consegue agir no timing necessário”, explica.

Para Roberto, essa falta de mobilidade do negócio diante de um cenário incerto cria limitações para todos os envolvidos com a empresa. “A área comercial, por exemplo, não consegue criar modelos de negociação para manter os clientes, a equipe de marketing não evolui no processo de digitalização para a comunicação com o mercado e adoção de novas ferramentas de vendas. É prejudicial em todos os aspectos e este é o momento de reavaliar essa postura centralizadora do líder”, diz.

Adaptação para a sobrevivência

De acordo com o consultor empresarial, dar liberdade não significa perder a rédea de negócio, pois é possível liderar e definir etapas sem engessar a gestão. “O primeiro passo para isso é contar com um time qualificado. Um conselho consultivo formado por profissionais especialistas em diferentes áreas, por exemplo, pode ajudar a empresa a definir novas ações e apoiar a liderança no desenvolvimento de um trabalho colaborativo. Outro fator é definir o tipo de decisão que não precisaria passar pela diretoria, garantindo assim que situações mais rotineiras possam acontecer rapidamente”, indica.

A descentralização em momentos críticos vai ainda além da adaptação do negócio, mas pode significar até mesmo a sobrevivência da empresa. “Grande parte dos negócios brasileiros são familiares e em muitos deles ainda não há uma preocupação com a sucessão. Ter mais de uma pessoa na linha decisória evita que uma empresa acabe até mesmo fechando porque não tem alguém pronto para tomar decisões em situações críticas. Seja mais flexível e cobre resultados. No fundo, dar liberdade para a atuação pode, inclusive, fazer os resultados serem melhores do que antes”, finaliza Vilela.
